PROBLEM

Keener and keener is be coming the competition for supremacy in the first division of the lawn bowls league, and with the defeat of the Bowling Green by the Creigengower on Saturday the issue remains exceedingly open.

Civil Service, by beating the Police, retain a lively interest in the destination of the champion- ship, enjoying an identical record as the Craigengower and there- fore in a position to offer the Bowling Green a strong challenge.

Taking advantage of Craigen- gower's absence from the green, The K.B.G.C. consolidated their position at the head of the second division by trouncing the K.C.C.

But last year's champions are in a good position, having two games in hand and being only two points in arrears.
