A private members bill, to modify the law that protects the historic battlefield of Waterloo, has been examined by the Belgian chamber of deputies in committee.
The text of the bill, which was introduced by a socialist deputy, M. Jules Mathieu, was adopted by three committee sections and re- Jected by three committee sections.
