RECREIO DEFEAT CIVIL SERVICE
(By "Veritas"}
League tennis yesterday was confined to the matches in the "B" Division, which saw the defeat of the K.CC. and Civil Service by 1.R.C. and Recreio respectively.
The K.C.C. gave a poor account of themselves at Sookunpoo. Though without D.S. and S. E. Green, and robbed of the services of Hambly and Rodger, this could not be advanced as an excuse for the team's failure.
The stendiness of the LR.C. pans was a notable feature of the match. A H. Rumjahn and, Madar had the distinction of win- ning all three sets. Extremely promising form was displayed by the Sullied brothers, the youngest players in the team.
