reporter again in *70,000 Witnesses." This time ho's sent to a collego town to broadcast over the radio a play-by-play descrip- tion of a big football game. He gets drunk on the train en routa to the
game, and doesn't sober up for the remainder of the picture.
The film is the story of the mysterious murder of half-buck as
he dashes for touchdown. Seventy thousand spectators in the jammed stadium see him collapse and die- But not one knows how or by whom the crime was committed.
David Landau, a defective, and Holmes, room-mate of the victim, a role played by Brown, ultimately solve the mystery. Miss Jordan is enst us Holmes sweetheart.
