At an all-day meeting held yes- terday, the Board of Trustees of the British Boxer Indemnity Fund, decided to advance £1,500,000 to the Minister of Railways for the con-) struction of the remaining portion of the Canton-Hankow Railway.
The Trustees also decided to make; an advance of £360,000 to the China Merchants Steam Navigation Com pany. The money will be used for the building of six new ship for the CATALANA KE Company. The ships will be built
