Severe criticism was levelled against the administration of the Shanghai-Nanking Railway yesterday afternoon, at a meet- ing in "Shanghai of the bond- holders of the railway.
The critics especially denounced the use of the railway by the Chinese Government for military purposes without the making of compensatory paymonts. The line has been steadily losing money as a result of a diversion of its services for military burposes,

It was stated that the Govern ment was in default in regard to the last three half-yearly interest cortifienten and that there had been no payment on the not profit cer- tificates since 1929.
