There are 3,600 roserved neats round the centre court, and to give as many as possible a chance the. Lawn Tennis Association issues which admit to books of tickets alternate danys only. Thore 7,200 books, and had there been twice that number there would not have been enough to satisfy tho demand.

Allocations have been made by ballot and the books of tickets are now in the post. For the next Tow day the LT.A. staff will work overtime returning money to un- lucky applicants. They wilt have to send back many thousands of pounds.
