What tremendous forces must be in existence to set in motion all thone vaat Island universes and keep them in motion to the present day! Where does the power come from? Enquire as man may, with all the resources of Science at his disposal, he must admit that the Universe has many secrets which it keeps from him, baffling him at every turn. He has learned much from the study of Selence, and not the leant is that this Universe is a mysterious Universe; that we are walking and living in! the mildat of mysteries, velled from the unaware but none the less real. Perhaps this is the more likely and the sun was the one rez- ponsible for the breaking up of thes small tusena from the side of the planets before things settled down to their present stendy state. Beyond Mars there is space where it would seem a planet should be, bigger than Mars and smaller than Jupiter, but instead there in a swarm, of tiny planet called ASTEROIDS. These were probably once a large planet, now in! fragmenta owing to the fact that ft
