STEADY
According to Meters. Swan, Cü)- bertson and Fritz, the New York market was steady yesterday, Busi- nos done: 2,010,000 shares. The Wall Street Journal reports-The market quieted down and mort elinnges were within a point, except Home Stake Mining Co. which drop- ped eleven points to 186, Auburn Automobiles dropped five pointa. Traders are apparently aloof, due to the strengthening of the dollar, and prefer to await further development. Aronage Magazine reports:
Production was 20% of capacity, the highest since March 1932, owing to all round improvement in the in- dustry. Thero la every confidence sunt acceleration will continue through |pany, and prices are amo better.
