An Interesting ceremony, was witnessed in the reception ball of the Central Bank of China Shanghat, when Dr. H H. Kang, the new Governor of the bank, was officially inducted into office. The ceremony was held under the supervision of Dr. Taal Yann-pai, representing the Central Tangpu, and Minister of Finanon T. V. Boone, who represented the Nanking Government. After the seal of the bank had hewn banded to Dr. Kung by Mr, Bosng, the latter, Dr. Taal and the Dr. Kung nach made short speeches.
