"We find that the deceased com- mitted suicide," was the verdict returned by a Coroner's jury at the Central Magistracy yesterday afternoon, at the conclusion of an Inquest into the death of Mr. John Gentle Smith, Inte Crlof Officer of the river through the heart on board the veanel on March 22 Inst.
