DECISION
TIFFIN TIME MEETING
LETTER SENT TO SECRETARY
CASE BASED ON RULE 22
By "Bully.Of"
Another Mamak hockey] protest, this time by the Incognitos!
The wordy warfare which har raged around the failure of the In- cogniton to finish their league pro- gramme, the demand for cecession of points from H.M.S. Tamar, the res fusal of the committee to permit thi and their order for a deciding match between the Incogs and the Radio, han now culmiunted in the Incognitou lodging a protest against committee's) decision reached last night.
THE LETTER.
The offended team met early this afternoon and drafted a letter of protest which will be immediately de- spatched to the Secretary of the Aumak competition.
Its chief points are:
(1) Inability to accept the Mamak committeo's decision for a de- ciding championship, match as in the Club's opinion Rule 22 of the tournament will not per- mit of such an order.
(The rule in question states that should the leading teams have an equal number of points, a deciding match or matches shall be played for; the championship. The Incogultos argue that this applies only in tho case where both teams have tied after playing the same number of motebes.) (2) The Incognitos are prepared to when play the Radio, if and II.M.S. Tamar defeat them. (3) The Club denies onus in regard
to the non fulfilment of the league fixture with H.M.S. Tomar,

time for them to play off their fixture with the Tamar the Incogs' committee was of the opinion
that
two points should be granted to them. as originally conceded by the secro- tary of the Tamar.. If, however, it should appear to be unfair to tho both Tamar to deprive them of points because through no fault of their own they could not complete their fixtures within the appointed time then in their opinion, the fairest courno would be to treat, as abandoned, all matches outstanding after April 10, the polnte being shar- ed by the teama concerned as was done in the case of the Incognitos- St. Andrew's match.
