With regard to a possible "pro- duction, I understand that a large! number of our members tre in favour of u Gilbert & Sullivan revival, but I should like to point out that the selection of an opera depends entirely upon the ability of the Committee to cast it, and as there is, as far as we know,,no tenor in the Colony capable of sustaining a Gilbert & Sullivant part, it appears that it will be difficult to produce one of these operas. It is considered that “A Country Girl" which does not re quire a tenor might be possible, but this is a matter which the new Committee will have to decide, suggestions, however, will be gladly welcomed from my mem- bor of the Society, and we, shall be glad to receive the names of any singers in the Colony who are willing to nesist the Society.
