After the passage between Worship and the solicitor, Mr. da Silva, replying to his Worship, said he was willing to continue.
The hearing was adjourned to Wednesday at 2.30 p.m., his Wor- ship granting bail in the sum of $600, each.
Mr. da Silva applied for a reduc- tion of bail, but the Magistrate re- fused, pointing out that the charges, if proved, were serious, and would affect the charitable and patriotic instincts of the people.
