As the Nanking Government has abandoned the intention of participating the Chicago Ex position, a Chinese syndicate head. ed by Mr. Taol Kam-fal will under- take to secure support from Hong kong, Shanghai and Canton firmas to make the Chinese section of this Exhibition a success.

The syndicate will spend $250,- 000 to finance the scheme and $200,000 will be spent for the construction of the building to make the Chinese show and | Chinese exhibits a worthy centre of attraction. The Chinese section will be built in the form of a walled city.
