ABSENT
Owing to the absence of the principal witness in the case, # charge of murder brought against Lee Hang, aged 24, was withdrawn before Mr. Schofield at the Central Police Court this morning, when Detective Inspector W. R. Chester Woods informed his Worship that the witness, who was sick. 80 not miles from Swatow, was available.

The statistical office of the Im- ports and Exports Department re- ports that total imports of merchandise into the Colony in the month of February, 1933, amounted to $47.6 millions (£3.0 millions) as compared with $51.2 millions (3.7 millions) in Feb- ruary, 1982, while exports totalled $37.5 millions (£2.4 millions) as compared with $37.1 million (£2.7 millions).
Since February of 1932. total imports of merchandise into Kong- kong have fluctuated from the lowest dollar value (18.0 millions) in January, 1933, to the highest (64.5 millions) in March, 1932- from while exports fluctuated
