"NINE TO SIX"
FINE PRODUCTION:
·BY A.D.C.
WOMEN PLAYERS. The great appeal of "Nine to Six" from the story viewpoint is that it brings us into direct contact with a phase of business activity and human life of which we see much, but comprehend little. "It is devoid of the abstract and deals in realities, as witness a few comments I heard last night at the premiere of this very successful stage play which is being brilliantly produced at the King's Theatre by the Hong-
kong A.D.C.
"That is real shop talk" said one member of the fair sex numbered among the audience, and another was overhead to exclaim "Now doesn't, that remind me of the days when I was at " "The whole beauty of this story is that it contains nothing ham or artifical, and its value as an entertainment is doubly enhanced by the admirable treatment accorded it by the talent el cast of young ladies whom Hongkong can boast of being real stage players.
