No one without a badge will br admitted to the Memboret Enclosure. Badges admitting non-members to Club the Members' Enclosura and Rooms at $10.00 per day including tax or $40.00 including tax for the Mesting (ndles $5.00 and $20,00 respectively), are obtainable through the Becretary upon introduction by a Member, such Member to be respon sible for all chits, etc.
Badges admitting to Members' En closure will NOT bo on sale at the Taco Courne.

Servants are not permitted in the Members' Enclosure except for passing through on their duties but must remain in their employers stande.
Any persons found loitering with Servants' passes in their possession will forfelt the samo and will be removed from the enclosure.

How to Judge Whisky
The Colour of Whisky
Do you make a practice of judging whisky by its colour or by the strength? No good judge of whisky takes much notice of the colour, nor is a good judge favourably. impressed by the bite or kick in determining the age and quality of Scotch Whisky.
If a glass of colourless whisky were put before you it would be received with grave suspicion, and sipped with great caution. Whisky
can be matured and still be almost colourless. The colour in
whisky is obtained from the particular wood in which it
is matured, and if matured in plain oak casks for a
period of years there would be little or no change in the colour of the whisky. Do not, therefore, judge whisky by its colour.
It does not always indicate the age or strength of the whisky.
The Right Way to
Test Good Whisky
The expert tests whisky by the nose and by the palate. To tell a good whisky by the nose is rather difficult, unless you are an expert, but most people can rely on their palate, and if you have a sensitive palate you should have no difficulty in detecting the fine qualities of

"WHITE HORSE." Where there is a bite or kick in whisky it does not signify that one whisky has more alcoholic strength than the other. Cheap and imma- ture whisky has a very decided bite or kick. If whisky is matured for, say, 20 or 30 years, the strength is reduced very considerably indeed. It tastes like cream. "Marrying" of
"White Horse"
The
For "WHITE HORSE" only the choicest makes of Scotch whisky are selected. They are matured for a long period in sherry wood before blending. After the first blending operation "WHITE HORSE" is allowed to lie in wood for a further period, in order to allow the whisky to become properly "married." The contents of the casks are again put in the blending
