The following have been selected to represent St. Andrew's Club against the "Incognitos" in a Mamak Tourna

The weather was far from ideal, ac. biting cold wind blowing all day. Many of the playars were mittens and as many sweaters and pull-ovorn as they could borrow, The cold spell also made the groene brittle and fast and rather dificult to play, but in spite of this handicap the putting generally was good.

forwardę showed good understanding.

The feature of the day's play was the remarkable recovery by Peares in his game with Gibba. In the morn Ing play he finished seven down, hie fallure due entirely to erratic green strokos: Ho started in brilliant style taking the first hole with a birdie three and the third birdie, holing at the short hole In two. The second hole was wen by Gibbs at bogey. The fourth and Afth holes were halved and from that un-point Pearce fell away in his play. sixth and seventh and Ho lost the halved the next at bogey. He lost the ninth and at the turn was two down. On the return Gibbs played some very fine tee shots with which ho gained the advantage en the ma fority of holes. At the 12 he was bunkered but Pearce had a bad lie with his tee shot. Gibba reached the green with his second stroke and holed in bogey, Pearce taking five. Pearce also lost the tenth, fourteenth, tenth and eighteenth, halving

remainder.

As to naval forces, the proposed programme is consistent with the July resolution advising Ove main naval powers to undertake con

ventions.

The British prograrame of work for the Disarmament Conference British has been handed by the delegate, Captain Anthony Eden, to the United States, French, Italian, German and Japanese delegations, and also to Mr. Arthur Henderson, Conferencente President of the British Wirelesa.
