(By "Fly HalfTM)
Against a weak Navy aide, the Club XV continued to
show markedly improved form on Saturday, and wound up their Triangular Tournament programme with a smashing victory by 27 points to three. The Navy were a andly depleted team; they have never recovered for
the loss of the Devorah!ro's players, and wore further weakened by the departure of H.M.8. Suffolk which took with her Lockley, Doykin and Robertson. In addition Watson, Francis and Martin were crockod ao that Saturday's side could scarcely be recognised as the very powerful XV which met the Club earlier in the
season.

One could not help feeling sorry for the Navy. Linton and Doggott struggled valiantly throughout, and there was no lack of pluck, but the pace and akli! were all on the other side. The ball came out of the scrum on the Navy alde so slowly that Alliston
