when Dona had first seen it. Tho cooking things were lying in a neat row beside the fireplace and the blankets were still on the bed. Dona Imagined them to be just as sha had tossed them hack on the morn. Ing when she had awakened Stan Ball's prisoner.

да

Dudley began poking around the floor and walls. Donn crossed to the stone bank and sat down. For a little while her eyes followed the circle of light from the flashlight. Then she gave herself up to a queer feeling of desolation. The place seemed to breathe the presence of Stan Ball. Dona wished she had not come. All the old longing with its wild and gusty flurries of emo- tion welled up in her heart.

Dudley was examining the ground carefully. He straightened aud- denly and enlled to her. "Here is where Swergin stood when he got the drop on Ball."

"Right there." Dona agreed nu- sently.

"Ila hobnalls' cut right into the floor of the cave," Dudley went on.

lis flashlight continued to bob along and halted before the Are- place. Donn censed to watch, los- Iny herself in her own thoughts.

Suddenly Dudley whistled loud- ly. Dona started and looked across to where he was poking in the fire- pince,

"Live conls!" he almost shouted. "I knew that fellow was still hang- ing around these hills."

Dona sprang up and crossed to his side. Dudley snapped off the flashlight and a half dozen live coals glowed brightly. A sudden ley grip tightened at the girl's heart and she could not take her eyes from the rody embers gleam- ing in the ashes.

"THAT DEPENDS," said the seller. "If we ship VIA SEATTLE it won't take so long!"

Ship them VIA SEATTLE, then! The sooner they ar- sive, the sooner we can sell them!” And the buyer was pleased to learn of the short United States route from the Orient to American markets.

In the future, you may be assured, that buyer will specify the ronto VIA SEATTLE on his own requisitions. Likewise the shipper on his shipping Instructions.
