The departure for England to- morrow of Mr. A. II. Ferguson will mean a great loss to the Hongkong Golf Club of which he has been a member for a great number of years and was President in 1925. Ito has been closely identified with golf in the Colony since he arrived in 1911 and during his sojourn here has captained tho Interport sides on minay occasiona including 1924 and 1928 against Shanghai, and 1926 against Shang- hai and Maniln. He has also play- ed a prominent part in the annual matches between St. Andrew's Society and St. George's Society.
