POLAR STAR SETS A NEW

RECORD TIME

BRILLIANT MEETING AT THE VALLEY. ON SATURDAY

Mr. Leo Frost, champion jockey of Hongkong just failed to achieve a triple triumph on Saturday and carry off the three St. Leger races.He did, however, win two, including the big event of the day, and added a further success before the close of a brilliant meeting.

He steered Liberty Bay and Racing Boy to victory, but was beaten for the Australian St. Leger when Polar Star sel up a new record for the course in this event.
