both
On Monday Shameen won points in a league match against H.M.S. "Cicala" by two clear goals. The score however was no indication of the superiority of Shameen, who ehould have put on at least another three guals.
The first goal was converted by Shameen's centreforward Folley, from
a beautiful forward pass from Pote- Hunt, which beat the opposing backa entirely, and left Palley to place the ball exactly in the corner of the net.
The second goal was the result of smart play down the left wing by Segalen, who finished up with a good centre to Fooley who again scored, with a clever piece of head-work.
Gerrard and Read at back proved In lower of strength for Shameen, and at all timen had the Navy forwards well in hand, The outstanding Shameen forwards were Folley and f'ote-Hunt.
Whilst Cicala have the right spirit all right, their forward quintette in- variably seem to lose themselves, and They appear lack players who can take up properly the feeding of their backs and convert, with accurate first-time shooting.
