Heavy-eyed?
Partial constipation! More subtly dangerous than complete constipation.
Its victim may feel little discomfort-notice no irregularity. But the heavy eye, the sallow skin, the coated tongue show that unremoved waste is spreading polson throughout the body. To correct this all-too-common trouble, there is only one remedy which has had the approval of doctors for over sixty years-Eno, first thing every morning. It is known and trusted all over the world. IS INTERPORT “SOCIAL GARDEN PARTY?”---CORRESPONDENT
(By "VERITAS").
THE Interport tennis selections have fulfilled their
task and yesterday published the composition of the two Hongkong teams to oppose Shanghai this month. The only position which has not been finally apportioned is that of No.3 men's singles, for which Ho Ka-lau and Taui Wai-pui are at present bracketed,
Personally I cannot help but think that the selectors, so far as the men's team is concerned have revealed a sad lack of vision and in accom- plishing their work have allowed themselves to be bound down by precedents and past achievements.
To the wail of the die-hards they have sacrificed the clarion call of enthusiastic and ambitions youth. Yesterday, in a very brief and; cursory manuer I attempted to suggest where the selectors had gone wrong, and further thought does not in any way help me to sympathise with their decisions. There is no argument about the No. 1 aingles and doubles. S. A. Rumjahn walks into the first and with his cousin has no rivals for

What indication have the selectors of the Lo brother's present form? None. If it comes to that what Indica- tion have they of any other doubles form outside of the Rumjahn cousins? Very little, and in most cases none.
That is why trials are so neces- sary and why it becomes increas inly dificult to appreciate how the selectors attempted to choose the team without suich trials,

TRIALS NECESSARY.
"In Hongkong, apparently, the members of the L.T.A., wish to prevent any possibility of new blood finding its way into the team, despite the disastrous defent of 5-nil which Hôngkong received at the hands of Shanghai last ¡year.
"Thanks to the strong comments made in a sports weekly,np- parently Taul Win-pui has been considered for the singles in the forthcoming Interport, but with H. D. Rumjahn repentedly beating his cousin of late, with Honda at!!! playing good tennis, and Fincher admittedly stale, the necessity of trials, quite apart from encourag ing the game generally, secmis more necessary now than ever. INTERPORT OR SOCIAL PARTY?
"I understand that the rea son for the Lo brothers being selected as second -string for the doubles, was to make as "sporting a team as possible.” If this be so the question arises. Is the Interport ten- nis to be a challenge of tho best Hongkong sido against best available Shanghai teám, or merely a social garden' party affair?

"America is a very good example of the results obtained from ade quate trials, encouraging new blood in the ranks of the first- class players. No inter-state or Inter-county match lever con- sidered without elaborate trials to see the present and not the past form of the playera. Shanghai runs its summer grass court cham- pionships to finish Immediately before the Interport, to get the latest information as to form, and after hearing how convincingly Duff beat Khoo last Autumn it is with great surprise I learn that Khoo won in straight suls, after Duff had beaten Guy Cheng.
WRONG ATTITUDE.

Although the Battery pressed like scoring they never looked and in this half their opposing forwards, with a brilliant run, increased the load of the Varsity.
