CASE OF FORGERY AGAINST CHINESE DISMISSED
Because "guilty knowledge" could not be proved, Wong Shing- ngok accused of forgery, was dis charged by Mr. Schofield at the Central Magistracy yesterday.
The circumstances of the case which commenced a week ago are that the accused want to the Tin Sheung Bank and presented credit note for $,5000.

Evidence for the prosecution was that he had represented himself as a foki of the Ng Wah Bank, but the Accused Taintained that his brother had given him the note and told him to cash it. He denied' that he had told Tin Sheung bank officiala that was a foki from the Ng Wah Bank,
Mr. D'Almada addressed. the Court for a few minutes, after which Mr. Schofield dismissed the
case.
