HEAVY DRAMA.
2-
picture of real heavy drama, The Strange Case of Clara Deane, which had its first showing at the King's Theatre yesterday, is a type of film which will probably enjoy only restricted popularity and appeal. The story itself is
well conceived, though it could have been better exploited. Heart-. throb scenes abound and Wynne Gibson gets the utmost out of them with n characteristic formance. Pat O'Brien plays opposite and good work is accom plished by Frances Dee. The film will undoubtedly attract the in- terest of a large number of patrons and as an entertainment it is quite up to standard.
