Although outside the scope of this report, I should like to refer to the prompt response of the mem- bers of this District to the need for ambulance workers at Shanghai during the recent hostilities. No details have yet come to hand of the work actually performed, but I have no doubt that the party sent from Hongkong to Shanghai fully maintained the traditions of the District and the Brigado Overseas.
