Only a few people realised the cause and there was no panic or confusion. Officials and visitors standing near the entrance of the stadium were startled to see flames burst from the electric light switch board, but two or three promptly seized the patent fire ex- tinguisher close by and within a Jew seconds, though not a bit tog soon, had the flames under control.
