The 1lon. M. H. T. Creasy, C. B. E., Director of Public Works, was the recipient of a handsome silver salver and cigarette box presented by the Officers of the Public Works Department yesterday afternoon. The presentatlon was attended by
large and representative gather ing of stalls of the Department, who expressed to their Chief the best of wishes.
Mr. R. M. Henderson, address- ing Mr. Creasy and those present. referred to Mr. Creasy's work both in Ceylon and in Hongkong, and paid a tibute to Mr. Cressy's years of service in the Colony.
Mr. Henderson, speaking glowing terms of the Hon. Creasy's work, said:
