Local Lady's Death.

The many friends of Miss Ignez Maria Vieira, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Vieira, will hear with regret of her death, which occurred at her residence at St. Joseph's Terrace yesterday after- noon.

The deceased lady, who was about 30 years of age, was well known among the local Portu- guese community and had many friends. She had been ailing for

a considerable time.
