Sir, Those who latened in last evening and others who read their morning newspapers to-day must have been delighted with Hong- kong's "Grand Old Man's" inter- esting recital of the improvements in Hongkong and at Kowloon, the cumulative effect of which suma up the Colony's amazing growth and development during the past- 44 years.
