An Informatory double is the doubling of an opponent's bid, partner not having made a bid, and is a powerful weapon whon properly employed in contract bridge. Too many players, how ever, give no definite information whon making เก informatory double. They simply double an opponent's bid to force partner to make a response regardless of their quick trick holding.
