The final day's racing in the Spring Meeting of the Shanghai Race Club we decided on Saturday when tho main ovent of the day was the Grand National Steeplechase, which was won by C. 8. Franklin's Bunny,

Phar Lap, belonging to Owen & Co. failed to uphold the reputation which the name has now gained in racing circles, and was beaten in the Spring Griffins Handicap "A" Class by A. S. Henchman's Sandy Lodge.

RADIO S.C. DEFEATED BY

THE REST

The Radio Sports Club, champlona of the Mamak Hockey League, wero defeated by the Rest of the Lesgua on the Y. M. C. A. ground on Satur day afternoon. The scores were fivo goals to ono in favour of the Rest.

C. C. Francia and W. G. Johnson were the scorers for the Rest, tho former getting three goals and the latter two. H. Bingh obtained the only goal for the Radio.

The Rest scored four of their goals in the first half of play, Francis acoring three and Johnson one. The Rest forwards attacked throughout, and the Radio goal was constantly in danger. Early in the second half, the Radio forwards got going, and H. Singh was enabled to reduce the lead. Shortly afterwards Johnson natted the fifth goal for the Rest.

At the conclusion of the the Mamak Shield was presented to game, the Radio Sports Club in the Central British Association pavillon by Mrs. Walton Rogers.
