Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of beige and green flowered georgette and a picture hat trimmed with velvet ribbons. Hor bouquet was of larkspur in pastel shades.
Attending the bridegroom was Mr. J. E. L. L. Parry-Wingfield who performed the duties of best man.
A reception was later held at 16, Peak Road, after which Mr. and Mra. Merry left for Manila where the honeymoon is to be spent.. The bride's going away dress was n red and beige ensemble.

When using the above high re- quirements for a forcing two-bid it takes very little in your hand to support partner. Remember, though, that he is looking for a slam bid on every two-bid that he makes. You have only three los- ing cards to take care of for part- ner, therefore make a positive re- sponse if your hand contains an ace, or without an ace, if it con- tains one and one-half tricks which would be a king, queen and a side king. When holding less than the above, your proper response is tivo no trump, which gives partner an opportunity to rebid.
