SERVICE FOOTBALL.
Nine schools were represented, these being the Diocesan Boys' School, Cen- tral British School, King's College, Munsang College, Queen's College, St. Joseph's College, St. Paul's Col tege, St. Stephen's College and Ying Wa College.
The meet was a great success, the sport witnessed being keen. Two TO- cords went by the board. The first was in the 220 yards race, when R. J. Reed (D. B. S.) broke the existing school record of 24.8 secs. His cine was 13.4/5 secs. The second record Was created in the shot put, Vargassoff, of King's Colleg, putting a distance of 42 ft. 10 Ins. The pre- vious school record was 92 ft. 0°1/2 ins.
St. Joseph's College gained the moat number of points, beating the GUNNERS OUTPLAY KENT IN Central British School by three Jovel until tho points. They were last race, which was the relay, and St. Joseph's by winning this carried off the championship.
SENIOR FINAL
The Navy was well represented at the final of the United Services Shield competition played on the Hongkong FC. yesterday afternoon, the result being a win for the Gunners by six goals to two. Commodore A. H. Walker O.B.E. was an interested spectator throughout the match.
Prior to the kick off and during the Interval, the band of H.M.S. Kent played selections on the field.
