A FOLLOW-ON.

Kowloon made a great recovery in their match against the Hongkong Cricket Club whon the game was re- sumed yesterday, and raised their ncoro from 136 runs (for 0 wickets) to 174.

J. C. Lyall and G. C. Burnett_con- tinsel their innings, and both bats men enterod the twenties. Beck bowled bent for the Club, taking 7 wickets for #0 runs.

Kowloon, however, could not save the follow-on, but when they went in to bat a second time totalled runa. F. Madar and E. P. Fincher each got 50, and Mackay 24. L. Hamilton took 0 wickets for 05.

When the Club went in to bat with 110 runs needed for victory, they found Burnett in dendly form with the ball, and were all dismissed for 08. Ride alone did anything of nute, malig 12 nol out. Burnett took wickets for 44.
