It is reliably reparted that a special committee, representing the leading insurance companies in Shanghai, has been formel to investigate the damage by Bre to insured property in Chapel and other Chinese areas during the re- eent hostilities,
It is estimated that insurance in Chapel alone is approximately ten million laels, and claims for compensation are being male by numbers of policy holders.
