Chicago, Feb. 11. Acting upon a writ of habena corpus, Judge George A. Carpenter, of the Federal Bench in Chicago, to-day dismissed the demand of the British Government for the extradition of Jacob Factor.
Factor's extradition was soughtj by the British Government on the allegation that he had participat- ed in a share-pushing concern in London. Judge Carpenter rule however, that the all'enees set out in the British demand would not ennstitute a crime if committed in Ilinola.
