A NELSON LETTER.

DISCOVERY IN OLD

BOOKS.

A Chester man, looking through! some old boolos he bought at a local sale about four years ago, found a letter believed to have been written by Lord Nelson.

It was dated Palermo, October 30. 1799, and was addressed to the father of a lad who fell in action.

"Time," the letter stated, "that great remedy for such loss, has, i hope, tranqualized your mind, and the reflection will remain that he died victorious and for his King nd country and in a battle which I trust you felt proud of, not only hy Every Briton, but by every good mn of all nations, as it was for virtue and religion."

The letter concluded:

REMINDER

HANKEN

People who are slow to rise may be quick to fall.

We find that it is not yet generally known that Wakefield Castrol Motor oils are sold, by the Imperial gallon of 9 lbs. whereas other oil Companies have adopted the American or wine gallon of 74/8 lbs. There is a difference of approximately 20% in the quantities and this should not be overlooked when.comparing prices. Messrs. Wakefield-being a purely British concern- naturally do not wish to use any other than the Imperial gallon which is, after all, the legal measure in the Colony and they trust their attitude will have the support of the motoring public.

Castrol gives you the correct quality and quantity.
