RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S EVENT AT V.R.C.

A thrilling 220 yards raco in which a fifth of a second only separated the winner, W. Lawrence, from B. V. Gittins and L. Roza Porelra, who fled for second place, was a feature of the third interport trial at the V.R.C. on Saturday night, sponsored by the Hongkong Amateur Swimming Asso- clation, at which there was a fairly large attendance. Leung Sul-man was an absentee from this race, which was very closely Yought throughout,

In the team race, after obtaining a lend at the beginning, The Rest finally lost to the Interport Team by three fifths of a second, while in the Ladies Team Raco Mrs. J. Macmahon secured in win for her side whon sho. beat Miss, M. Georgo by a narrow margin.

The Interporters had no dieulty in winning the water polo match against The Rest by six goals to one. At half time Tho Rest had one point, while the Interport Side had put on threa goals.
