The total storage in the Colony's reservoirs on the first of the month was 2,196.07 million gallons, of which 1,675.54 m.g. were in the Island reservoirs and 020.13 in those of Kowloon, compared with 2,040.05 m.g. in the Island reser- voirs and 601.75 in those of Kow- loon on August 1 of Inst year.
It is intereating in this connexion to notice that for the first time since the Government acquired the private waterworks system of the Aberdeen Paper Mill, that reser- voir has been brought into the monthly water statistics.
