Atlantic
flight, which was established by the British, airmen, Sir John Alcock and Sir Arthur Whitten Brown, in 119, was broken to-day when fifteen hours and forty-eight_mi-
nutes after leaving Har- bour Grace, the American airman, Wiley Post, accom- panied by the former Au- stralian naval cadet, Harold Gatty, landed at a R.A.F. aerodrome, near Chester. They beat the record which had stood for twelve yours by twenty-four minutes.
