A report on the Burma situation during the week ending 18th May, circulated in the House of Com ntons to-night, states that Lwo largo rebel campa have been attacked and destroyed in the Tharawaddy District, when some important fenders were killed and captured.
Other minor successes by Government forces had occurred and there were no successful attacks by rebels.
Dacoities continue to occur, but there has been no marked change in the situation during the week. Attacks upon Indians are still occurring and have spread to the Mynungmyn District.
