IV, THE linen suit made a smart getaway to chic last summer but this year it is in the lead. You can have it in natural color or in some of the delicious new pastels that linen is mastering. One of these is a new. smoky blue, flattering as can be.
A tailored suit of this linen has a skirt made with double box pleats down each hip to give necessary full- ness and a cute jacket that fits in at the waistline. The *jacket buttons double-breasted, or it can be left open to show a fresh looking dotted Swiss overblouse, white with blue dots in it, that buttons with big glass buttons of the suit's smoky blue and has a scarf collar that ties in huge butterfly how under the chin.
Match this suit up with a little tumed back brim panamalac hat, with a cockade of smoky blue atin ribbon on one side of it, and you can carry your head high over that cule bow!
WHITE buckskin with a brown morocco trim is, a combination that is proving effective in the new sports shoe. Sports shoes are presenting, distinctive styles in the spring shoe parade, and the popularity of brown its a color lias given greater impetus to the brown and white shoe designs.
VI. FOR serviceable office, wear or shopping nothing could be better than a brown redingote of a new crepe weave faille, made three-quartors length as to sleeve and coat skirt, and worn witi one of the new small terned brown and white print silke, tailored neatly, with white, frill to trim it, stitchell in brown.. A brown tricorn hat of Milan and felt, white gloves and some of the new sports shoes in brown and white, and there you are all dressed up and feeling smart enough to ask your boss for a raise in pay.
