Lord Stamfordhuni, the King's private secretary, who had been ill for some time past, made good progress towards recovery, and suffered a relapse a few days ago, passed away this evening In his 82nd year.
Arthur John Bigge, soldier, pri- vate secretary to two Monarchs, and the first Lord Stamfordham, was the son of the Rev. J. F. Bigge Vicar of Stamfordham, near New- barn In castle-on-Tyne, and was June, 1849.
