SIX YEARS HARD FOR ASSAULT.
CHINESE SENTENCED FOR
OLD OFFENCE.
Sentence of six years hard la bour, was passed on Fong Fing, charged with three men unknown, with assaulting Wong Sik-enuen, at 60. Latchikok Road on March 27, 1929, with intent to rob, when the proceedings came before acting Pulane Judge (Mr. R. E. Lindsell) at the Criminal Sessions yesterday.

a Chinesa boy, Kwok Ping, who was knocked down by Kowloon motor bus, No. 684, and killed in Shanghai Street, ori January 30.
After Dr. K. Uttley had deposed to the injuries sustained by the deceased, which in his opinion were consistent with his having been knocked down by a 'bus, the boy's mother gave identification evidenco.
