Club House and Grounds.-The Club House has been maintained in good condition, and thoroughly ro decorated internally, and external woodwork reproserved. Owing to the enormous quantity of ice required for considered More bar use, it was economical to instal a Kelvinator. It is anilcipated that its cost will be Muved in less than three years. The second well, which was built in the latter part of 1929, has more than justified the money expended on it, the saving in excess water consumption to date being considerable. Owing to the high cost involved, it was found impossiblu to erect the propone fence on the Austin Road side of the Club Grounds. With the increased cost of commodities and labour due to the low rate of exchange, and sub- sequent increased overhead charges, It is anticipated that this project will not materialise for some time come. The rattan chairs, for use on the tennis courts, have been replaced by four substantial garden sents. The whole of the garden seats, score boards, ate, have been thoroughly renovated and repainted.

Bowls. Two teama were entered in the Lawn Bowls Leagues, and each did very well, especially the Second Team, who are lu be congratulated on their consistent, record in being in the play off for the championship for two years in succession.

The General Committee take this opportunity of heartily congratulating Mr. A. M. Holland on winning the Championship of the Colony,
Mr. D. F. Warren, Past President of the Club, very kindly, presented The Attaboy Shield" to be played for annually by means of a rink com- petition. The thanks of the Club are due and are here accorded, to Mr. Warren for his geacrous gift.
Tennis. The usual Club Compati tions and Cames were held and keen- ly contested. The Committee sioto with pleasure the increased interest in this section of the Club's activities. and hope it will be fully maintained during the coming year.
Four now Tennis Nets were pur- chased during the year, and it is hoped that,
