In order that the reorganisation of the Tientsin-Pukow" Railway may effectively be carried out, a portion of the British Boxor Indemnity refund will be loaned to the railway for the purchase of rolling stock, including eight "Pacifie" type locomotives and a number of passenger coaches.
The Ministry of Railways has agreed that the T.P.R. borrow £500,000 from the Indemnity re- fund at interest of 5. per cent. redeemable in four years.-Reuter.
