Mr. R. Y. Frost, of the Asiatic Petroleum Company, was among the many traffic offenders who appeared before Mr. Schofield at the Central Police Courf this fer morning. being summoned allowing his private motor car, No. 2181, to cause an obstruction In Pedder Street.

The defendant pleaded guilty and was fined $5. it being stated that he had left his car between the white lines marking the space half way up Pedder Street which indiente the crossing point for pedestriana.

In prosecuting the drivers of Iwo motor lorries for driving their vehicles along Barker Road with out a permit, Inspector Alexander informed the Court that in both cases the defendants had driven past the Victoria Hospital and bat damaged the railing. The rond at that part was very narrow and in order to turn it was neces- sary for the vehicles to be talten to the tram station.
